This series contains abortion issue correspondence addressed to Governor Martinez in 1989. The correspondence was in response to his calling a special session of the Florida Legislature to consider changing Florida's abortion laws. The series was formed by using a general, random sampling technique to reduce the volume of correspondence from 51 cubic feet to 5 cubic feet and includes both form and individual letters.
